Comforting the inflicted and inflicting the comfortable, he grew up in an at-risk neighbourhood, and has engaged many people in urban ministry while serving at-risk and street-involved people for over 15 years - in drop-ins, shelters, and social agencies. Michael, aka Prozzz, feels called to serve the poor, the widowed, the orphaned - to make a difference in the community we share. In addition to being Community & Street Level Ministry Director at Pax North Church, Prozzz is also currently Executive Director of Atlantic Canada's largest men's shelter, here in Halifax. Prozzz lives with his wife and two toddlers in the North End. He enjoys friendships that CAN handle the truth, and people not afraid to engage the urban culture. He believes Coke is better than Pepsi, politicians are too clean shaven, and it is okay to really say what you believe as long as you live like it matters. Prozzz went to Emmanuel Bible College in Kitchener, Ontario, and continues to learn best in motivated functional contexts from mentors and his experiences.

She has a spiritual passion for cities, and the kids growing up in cities in particular. Much like a kid herself, she enjoys watching Family channel movies, playing outside and watching a little football. Go Eagles Go!

After sensing God's call to serve Jesus 'at home' in the Maritimes, Nevin and Amanda Doncaster moved from the Saskatchewan prairies in May 2007 to join the urban missional ministry of PAXnorth Church. Together, they desire to see the lost and broken of the world enter the Kingdom of God and for Christians to live authentic, biblical lives that embody the Gospel. Nevin begins his journey with PAXnorth as an intern with the hopes of continuing with the church thereafter. He has a BA in Biblical Studies and a BA in Theology from Briercrest College and truly believes that, "gray hair is a crown of splendor; it is attained in the way of righteousness" (Proverbs 16:31).
