Church Planting

Statistics Canada predicts that by the year 2020 approximately 85% of Canada's entire population will live in urban settings. In 2006 Canada had a waiting list of 800,000 people who were seeking to immigrate to Canada. An estimated 300,000 legal, intentional immigrants will be permitted to enter Canada each year. The majority of them will begin life in Canada's urban settings.

(research quoted from the Globe and Mail, November 3, 2006)

The needs in Canada's urban settings are great. The spiritual vacuum is evident in the headlines of our culture. Many churches are not prepared ~or simply not located~ to address the need, yet most culture trends and influences come from within the urban culture.

We also recognie that in many suburban and rural settings throughout Canada there is a great need for a new or renewed expression of the Gospel. We have heard of and witnessed God at work in many corners of our Provinces where previously there seemd to be no or little reception to the Gospel.

It is our hope and calling to be a part of a Missional Church Plant movement through out Canada. Starting first in our own backyard, the Atlantic Provinces and moving across our country. We seek to partner with those of similar desire and calling. To offer:
-   Transferable resources
-   Hands on Internships
-   Church Planter assessments and encouragement

As a member of A29 Network we highly recommend the resources that they offer; as well as attending their "Bootcamp"- required for Candidates but open to all potential church planters- If you are currently interested in planting a church we would recommend ACTS29 to you.

If you are interested in being assessed or developed alongside PAX North as a Church Planter to Canada see Assessment link.

If you are interested in a potential church plant internship with us please see Internship link.
