At the center of everything that is PAX North you'll find these values:
FAITH:
God- God is primary.
Jesus Christ- Christ is central.
Authentic Spiritual Life- is for everyday.
VALUE:
Gospel - Changes everything for us.
Worship- A must response to God's work.
Mission- We exist to bless the world as an act of worship for the sake of the Gospel.
CULTURE:
Here- God is here, in loving pursuit of the world.
Now- the Church is called to engage culture with the gospel, not hide from it.
Expressed- Authentic spiritual life in everyday, reflects the mission of Christ.

PAX North...IT'S HERE...

PAX North is a community of people that seeks to live out the teachings of Jesus Christ in authentic relationships, cultural relevance, and in a way that brings value to the city in which we live.

'MY HALIFAX' Calendars!

Thanks to all of the artists for your hard work in putting together the 'My Halifax' calendar for 2012!

If you're wondering what this calendar bit is all about, here's the background:
"My Halifax" was a photo contest set up by PAXnorth church for our
community of street-level friends so we could gain some perspective of
what Halifax is like from their point of view. This calendar is comprised
of the top 12 photos from over 400 taken by 21 participants. It is being
sold to raise funds for PAXnorth street level missions. PAXnorth currently
has a street-level chaplain on staff, runs recovery and anger
management programs, and hosts events such as the Christmas party
for this community. We share a building with Souls Harbour Mission in
the North End of Halifax to better commit to, care for and journey with
our street-level friends.
